Coefficient of friction
Our products are alloy rich & feature a homogeneous carbide matrix (unlike cco which have a random carbide matrix). Carbides are aligned perpendicular to the wear material offering the best wear resistance with a uniform structure.
DOMITE has a comparatively low coefficient of friction when compared to alternative wear materials due to the alloying agents, this reduces hang up & carry back.
We can supply liners in the as cast or machined state.
- Cast face – is typically 250 microinches on the Surface Roughness Scale
- Machined face – is typically 32 microinches on the Surface Roughness Scale
The cast face through time will wear to the machine face’s state, machining the face offers the immediate benefit.
